Subscription to Straits Times

The promotion by SPH on the subscrition of Straits Times attracted my attention two months ago. In the past, I had been reading the news on line. I found it satisfactorily and met my requirement. However, with the growing up of my daughter, I thought perhaps it was time to subscribe the newspaper for her reading.

In the beginning, I noted that she read the movie and TV advertisement in the Life Section of the ST. These are the section which I ususlly don't look at. It is good that she fills up the gap. So far, on her reminder, we went to see a movie on Gollivar Travel at Iluma. Being a local in the info age, today she downloaded the e-reading portal from the NLB onto her iPad. These are the things I strongly approved but have not the skills and time to do it.

The newspaper man delivered the paper between 6 to 6.15 am when we have a few minutes to flip through a few pages before leaving the house for the school bus. There is an obvious advantage in the subscription of ST as my computer is getting old and takes a longer time to link up while it is so easy to just flip through the papers for news.
