Breakfast - all about nuts
Since I read about the benefits of nuts a few years back on internet, I have passionately consumed nuts. I have walnuts, almonds, brazil nuts, pekan nuts, macadamia nut, occasionally the pistachio nut. I was told that consume various nuts together would reap the benefits of different oils that are in the nuts. They are the omega oils, which are good for heart and our body. Besides omega oils, nuts have vitamin E as well.

I have taken as a habit to take nuts with my morning oatmeal breakfast. Nuts are cut into tiny pieces, with 2-3 small dried turkey figs. Sometimes I use the bigger version, which is also more fleshy for a change. Nowadays, I add a table spoonful of chia seeds, which contain omega oil as well to make it a nutrient laden breakfast. My yummy breakfast not only is tasty, it boost life energy as well.

I use almonds to go with my yogurt with raisin. Sometimes I add banana to the yogurt. They all make great taste. Banana with oatmeal is nice, too. I use banana before I turn to using nuts.

Lunch
I try to take only one meal of carbohydrate a day, be it brown rice with steam salmon fish, steam with cauliflower or tomatoes, or bread with otak (mackeral  fish and prawn). Sometimes, I have salad with fish or egg. Nutrients packed, simple and easy.

Dinner
Try not to eat much, else share with my daughter.
